Techfors, flexible bioreactor for research and production
Techfors gives you all the flexibility you need when it comes to the development and production of bioprocesses at pilot and production scale with a total volume between 20 and 750 L. Techfors is designed so that batch, fedbatch and continuous culture strategies such as chemostat or perfusion processes can be run or further developed on highest possible level.
Techfors is built in Infor’s factory in Switzerland to comply with all your wishes and is available in both bacterial and cell culture versions.
Of course, Techfors complies with FDA requirements and is perfect for GMP environments. We are also happy to help qualify your Techfors system.
Techfors can be sterilized (SIP) and cleaned (CIP) in situ. The CIP option is either permanently installed or available as a mobile CIP unit; INFORS HT TechCIP.

- High-precision pumps for accurate process control and optimal safety. Techfors is prepared for five integrated pumps with the option to connect several.
- Accurate measurement of vessel weight thanks to a central fixing point.
- Splash-proof control cabinet and touch screen.
Techfors has practically unlimited options and ideal conditions for practically all bioprocesses. A wide selection of stirrers, gas injection strategies, vessel configurations, additional sensors, analyzers and pumps can be specified.
